Verasonics is a privately held company located in Redmond WA, founded in June of 2002 and reorganized in 2005. The company is dedicated to advancing the state of the art of ultrasound. Its staff is comprised of engineers and scientists with extensive ultrasound research and development experience. Verasonics has developed a unique ultrasound architecture that enables new modes and applications that can't be implemented using any other ultrasound architecture. Verasonics licenses its technology, markets OEM's hardware and software components and provides consulting services to customers in emerging and traditional ultrasound markets.
